Our Story
UP the Status Quo Consulting Inc. is the culmination of founder Lana Binning's remarkable journey. From working various jobs starting at age 12 to establishing RAVE Designs, the first Aboriginal Woman-owned advertising firm in Canada, Lana's path demonstrates how hope and resilience truly shapes one's future.
A pivotal moment came when Lana invited Dr. Stephen R. Covey to speak at a fundraising event, leading to a personal invitation from Dr. Covey to share in his life's work. After Dr. Covey's passing in 2012, Lana continues his legacy to unleash human potential, resulting in the launch of UP the Status Quo Consulting Inc. in 2019.
Our team's tenacity reflects the transformative impact our work has had across Canada. Our team's diverse background in education, workforce development, board governance, and Indigenous engagement provides a unique perspective that drives our success.
