Lana Binning is the Founder of UP the Status Quo Consulting Inc., a purpose-driven firm helping organizations and communities unleash human potential, challenge the status quo, and create lasting change. An Indigenous entrepreneur and advocate for systemic transformation, Lana founded Canada’s first Aboriginal woman-owned advertising firm and brings together business strategy, cultural understanding, and community-centered leadership.

Lana was invited by Dr. Stephen R. Covey, her mentor, to join FranklinCovey and help advance his mission to “unleash human potential.” Though Dr. Covey passed away before Lana launched UP the Status Quo, she continues to carry his legacy forward as a FranklinCovey International Partner.

UP stands for Unleash Potential—a name that reflects our team's shared vision and our belief in what people, communities and organizations can achieve when they lead with courage, purpose, and possibility.
